Since my family came out to see us for Thanksgiving this year, we decided to stay at home for a relaxing Christmas. The kids let me sleep until 6:30, as they always enjoy seeing the sun come up while we are opening presents.

My parents and brother came to FL for the week of Thanksgiving.

Lydia and I spent a long weekend in San Francisco again. We were there for a company sponsored patent award dinner where I received a plaque for my first patent.

Christine wanted to spend a weekend in Savannah to celebrate her birthday this year.

Once a year, Lydia's family gets together at the cottage on the river. We went this year instead of going racing at Sebring.

I was in Barcelona for my company's Pre-sales Symposium. Nice city on the Mediterranean. The climate was very nice, the architecture interesting and the people very friendly, although quite a few didn't speak English.

Wow! Patrick's 22 now, and wanted a new surfboard.

Patrick and I headed down to Key Largo in late August 2006 to do some SCUBA diving. The diving trip originated from "It's a Dive" shop which is located on the same property as the Marriott Beach Resort where we stayed. We did a total of four dives over the weekend. ll of them were dives on Elbow Reef, the specific locations being: City of Washington, The Chain, Mike's Wreck and Train Wreck.

St. Theresa's had a "Revolving Door" mass and luncheon commemorating Fr. Lucree's upcoming retirement and Jason's entry into the seminary.

Christine was in England for a children's literature study program at King's College in London. The pictures below are from a variety of places.

My first cousins from Louisiana were in Orlando for a Disney World vacation, and we got together for dinner one evening.

Lydia, Christine and I headed off to St. George Island, FL again to enjoy some vacation with Lydia's family. The first day we were met with the first major tropical storm of the season, but it only brought some rain and winds.

Lydia rescued Arwen a few days after we lost Pippin. Arwen is named after the elven princess, Arwen Evenstar, from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. In case you weren't aware, I always name our animals after characters from my favorite book.

My niece, and our goddaughter, Alicia came to visit us over spring break. We originally planned to take her to see Savannah, but Lydia and Christine got sick and we couldn't travel. We did take her to see the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse.

My team from work had an offsite event at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, Calif. The hotel, landscape and views were incredible!

We had a fajita bar-b-q get together at our house. This set includes the last picture of our baby, Pippin, plus pictures of our new dog, Arwen. We took her fishing near Titusville.
